Any problems using AT 24/40 casings when the mounts are that close together?
No, as long as you align the notches in the cases properly.

That's right... come to the Dark Side! :dark:
Everyone knows Anakin Skywalker joined the Sith and became Darth Vader after he started flying clusters. :dark:

You will get opinions about using clip whips and they are fine if they work for you, but I have stopped using them in favor of the extensions.
that way I don't have to worry about leaving the clip whips at the pad.
If you use a heavy wall BT50, it's not an issue at all. I use either the LOC heavy wall or the foil-lined ones from Balsa Machining.Any problems using AT 24/40 casings when the mounts are that close together?
That would be a reason to save as many of the old igniters as possible and use the new STARTERS on single motor launches. As the supply of old pyro igniters dwindles you will see fewer and fewer BP clusters, especially anything three or over.
Yep them clusters is fun. A little more spendy but you get to spend more time on your favorite prepping routines and flight set up at the pad. Testing starter designs and firing in the backyard or on the patio.(the starters that is) yeehaa
