i dont use rocksim too often and this is driving me nuts
version 5

trying to sim 4" 3 motor cluster for night flight, dry weight 25 oz.
0 alt, says use bigger motor...
G40 sim runs fine

saying to myself this is crazy.

ran sim on single motor lighter rocket, same thing.... 0 alt use bigger motor

downloaded motor file from rocketreviews

thankx in advance for help in this matter

john

Try the version from Thrustcurve. I would think there is something off with the motor file for the g75 if the rocket sims fine with other motors.

You have a very old version of Rocksim.

Thanks for reply Mark

ya have old version :(

it wont load .RSE motor files without a ton
of manual editing.

the AT .ENG master file would not load either without errors
so extracted motor data set for G75, works now.

hard to think with a 3 year old maniac pestering me :)

John,

Check my website www.rocketryfiles.com. Username and password are both guest. I have all manufacturer complete and current motor files in both rse and eng file formats.

Hey Mark

I got thru my 'title' issue, but would like full engine file

how do i download from that site?

ended up cut/paste same as with other source of AT full file

compeng puked at line 4203 L339 8.311 26.675, happens to 64th data point
played around a bit and looks like limited to amount of thrust data points
doesn't like P for plugged motors also.

i know i have old version V5
can't afford V9 so fighting with one.

hope this info helps anyone else playing with these issues
that use old version.

p.s. doing all this for old rocket i designed for 3 * F50SS motors :)
they are canted 15 degrees.

a buddy of mine wants to fly it at MWP night launch
