Can I just say that LDRS 37 energized my interest in rocketry. Good folks. Good Fun. Feeling good.
Just got home from the BEST ROCKET LAUNCH EVER! Even the ten hour drive has not muted the buzz from this event. I flew every rocket I took, and Tweety Bird twice. One little mistake, a loose quick link on the N/C of Tweety Bird was the only flaw in the whole weekend. Standby for a "Reflections on LDRS 37" thread soon.
did anyone take pictures? Have not seen much at all. Maybe over the next few days they will be posted.
Sharon, I left CUDDLE MONSTER with Tim. He said he'll put it in your next box. Not sure if he'll wash it first or not
THANK YOU TCC for an incredible event. You all know how to have a good time at a rocket launch!

I had a great time. I got to meet a bunch of people that I had talked to online but never met face to face.
I flew my 3" Saab to ~6k on a CTI J355 Red on Thursday. I picked it up a mile SE of the pads in a plowed field.
The Monkey Loft was a success. We had 8 participants in the I class on Friday and Thirsty won the closest to the pad award. On Saturday we had 3 participants in the mixed H/I class and Eric Hamilton won. It was bittersweet for me though. I lost my Doorknob in the wheat. I saw it land but couldn't find it. I knew I should have pre-pre-ordered that H550 I wanted. I won't fly at TCC without a tracking system again.
I have about 40 pictures that I like.

Chris, thanks for the awesome photo of Tweety Bird

Great pictures Chris! I agree, that shot of my Blackstar on the pad is awesome. Mind if I copy them into my thread? I hope you upload them to the Dropbox too, I would love to see the rest of your favorite shots.
