Bought a mini Ho-Jo yesterday and built it (all except decals) Great little rocket! Did some more sanding on the 4" Patriot, waiting on Alt bay which will be here next wednesday. More electronic parts arriving today to build my launcher/control system.

We took the photo, had the first round of rockets ready to launch and the downpour arrived. If the cost for
two and a half inches of rain is a rocket launch, it was worth the price.

Launch has been rescheduled for next Friday.

We bought the Estes CC Express and we are going to dedicate it to my Grandpa who is dying of cancer. Hoping to get down and see him in September before it is too late.

Bought 50 feet of 5/16" kevlar. So exciting. I need to get done with some house projects so I can build some rockets :/

I got 60 Quest Q2G2 ignitors.

One thing to note some of them come with red leads and different packaging. Could this be from the merge? I don't think so but it might be when the Q2G2 ignitors became sparse.

I'm going to send in smoke few Cesaroni and AT motors ....Launch day yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

I just came inside to get out of the heat. I was in the garage working on the Big Daddy Akavish and it got overwhelming. But, there's a thunderstorm moving in so it may be cooler in a little while and I'll get back to work.

Gorilla glued the clear fins of my SpaceX Falcon 9 on instead of relying on its standard locking in attachment system. One fin falls off every landing, and they are a pain to find since they are clear.
Glad I got that off my checklist :)

Finally finished my rockets for NYPOWER.

Added nose weight to Excalibur
Put decals on 3FNC & Orion
Repaired Gnasher

Here is the fleet I am bringing. Many of these are "virgins" and will have their maiden flight. We will see how these wreak havoc upon the masses and lay waste to Geneseo :y:

I am having so much fun getting back into building rockets. I took some time off after getting the L1.

Now I see this area where I think there are a lot of folks in the same area. We can shoot off a range where your rockets are low on the high power. They hit around 2K feet, you can see them launch and come down. No need for the fancy electronics and just have fun. The motors available in the range are great and fun. I am loving it.

Chirpers on your rockets where you see about where it lands.

Love it

Reserved a room at Bruno's for Thursday night.

If you've never been there, don't expect much more than a bed to sleep on, and a shower. As soon as you get into the room in the evening, open the bathroom and room windows all the way -- otherwise, if your room is like ours was, you'll cook.

A fridge! They promised me a fridge in the room!

This is indeed my first trip that way. Thank you for the heads-up Kevin.

Prepped 8 rockets for flight tomorrow with The Radical Rocketeers! First MPR flight woohoo!!!!:w:
prayed for nice weather, and did my anti-rain dance...

Sand, fill, reprime, ... the sustainer and I put the gloss on the payload section and nose cone of the Behemoth Bertha 75. Not what I imagined, but good enough.

You need to post this to the LOL thread:

That's pretty funny there.
:point:

Haven't done anything rocket wise in a long time. Been so busy traveling and doing summer camps. Anyhow, thats now over, so I'm looking forward to blowing the dust off my rockets and getting back to building!!!

Nothing for the last 2 days - been trying to get up and running on a new computer with Windows 8... argh!!!
