Look at title, but what I'm looking for is a good quality rocket with a 29mm MMT as long as possible (the body as long as possible). 38mm MMT is acceptable too, but I would like to keep the price under 60 dollars. Is there such a kit rocket out there? I've looked at a few of the bigger manufacturers but I'm not sure if anything there fit the bill...

Thanks.
Jesse

The Aerotech Mirage is 87" long, and 2.6" dia. and is 29mm. However, it retails for closer to $90. (consider AT quality tho) You could easily scratch build a long and lean rocket for less than this if you bought some lock tube, and nose cone, cut your own CR's (easy) and bought some ply at a craft store.

Those first two are a little over your $60 price point. If that is a hard limit, you could replace the 3x24mm mount on a Richter Recker with a single 29mm mount.

Richter Recker

You could do a similar mod to a Tall Boy:

The Hobbylinc description of the AeroTech Mirage kit has an error.

There are only three fins, not four.

I designed it that way to differentiate it from the Astrobee-D kit. That also caused the Mirage to have a better profit margin. :D

There's also the AT Barracuda. 1.9" Diameter, 29mm mount, 56" long, $54.19 at Hobbylinc. I love mine! Flies great on F22s!

How about a LOC Weasel? Around $40.00 and 48" tall. It flies great on everything from a F up through an I 29mm.....

Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!

How embarrassing. I forgot about the Barracuda.

That kit just gets no respect, not even from the person who designed it. ;)

It's such a great kit, too! I was wondering why you didn't mention it! :D

I think Sunward also has a larger motor mount available that you could use in the six shooter. You could always ask Angelo, he probibly could send it with the kit. He's pretty good at that.

Well, I found that the initiator, arreaux, iqsy tomahawk, cheetah, wart hog, and the barracuda, all by aerotech. By LOC/Precision you have the aura, weasel, lil' nuke, nuke pro max, legacy, star fighter, and several more. Here's a link to a great website, www.redarrowhobbies.com
