How in the world does a 32-in monitor fall over while you're not home?
awesome, we need to see a picture of the finished space, nice color choice.
Lake Michigan is rougher than the Atlantic, near the Cape, about a month ago.We went to the beach. The lake was a bit rough today with Fall winds.

Was that on Michigan or Erie? From your displayed location, "NE Indiana", it could be either one.I just read that the day I took those beach pictures, there was a drowning that occurred just off that beach a few hours before we arrived. There was a downwind paddling race which began on that beach and was supposed to end a bit North of where we were. The waves were about 7', all of the entrants were vetted with experience in these conditions with watercraft designed for it. The water was cold, probably 60 degrees or a little cooler. According to reports, the man who drowned was a professional paddler and experienced with water rescue. He was wearing a wetsuit and life jacket, but it sounds liked he succumbed to hypothermia.
I've been in colder water in these lakes myself and waves like this when I was a lifeguard, but not both together and I definitely don't have the paddling experience to even think about going out in those conditions. The great lakes are a wonder of the world, but still can be quite dangerous.

Thanks. This will be a slow project over the winter, but will do. Yesterday I got the first 2 racks of rocket wall mounts up and added the first above-workbench shelf. I'll put soldering irons, power supplies, chargers, etc on the shelves.awesome, we need to see a picture of the finished space, nice color choice.
I've always been a garage junkie up until 2 months ago, now I can't afford renting the car garage at the condos. Everything got sold and downsized into my stereo room.Thanks. I managed to catch a bug & started feeling crummy last night, so my work on it is stopped for a bit while I lay around on the couch.

Thanks, I appreciate that. A combo stereo/rocket room sounds great too, even if it's not as much room as having an extra garage space. At least the tunes are great!I've always been a garage junkie up until 2 months ago, now I can't afford renting the car garage at the condos. Everything got sold and downsized into my stereo room.
hope you get feeling better quickly.
yep, I'm in a 13x14 bedroom with 9 speakers and a 18" Stereo Integrity subwoofer. As long as I have my big tanker desk, I'm good. Thanks, I appreciate that. A combo stereo/rocket room sounds great too, even if it's not as much room as having an extra garage space. At least the tunes are great

I had to sell mine to help eliminate our car payment, so this marvelous Akai deck belongs to a friend who's letting me use it. (he has 8 others)There ya go! With a reel-to-reel too!

It will move 3 inches peak-to-peak travel, and I've never seen it move more than 1/2" And naturally there is 50% of the bass in the middle of the room. Go out in the hallway and that's where all the bass is.I take it the 18" sub doesn't have much trouble filling the room with sound.....
wow, that would be great to do portable ham radio operation from, highly envious.
Yeah, that was "neat" to see the activities in the general vicinity yesterday...Yesterday was fun; tornado outbreak (all small) here in SE WI. In the middle of October. One was north of our house, another to the south (we're in the larger upper gap)
