Hello,

I am looking for used/not wanted dual deployment altimeters for < 50 (not including shipping).
I don't really care how many times the device has been used, just that it works.

I am building a Wildman Mach 2 so space in the AV bay is a little cramped.

Thanks for reading,
Walter

Have you looked into the Eggtimer Quark? It's only $20, new - but assembly required.

Fits your budget, easily fits the space, and they work pretty good.

I am considering the Eggtimer Quark as a backup altimeter.

I would rather avoid it though as I have heard several stories regarding their reliability.

With any electronics kit, the biggest factor affecting reliability is assembly.

I am considering the Eggtimer Quark as a backup altimeter.

When experimenting, wouldn't you want your backup to be one you can depend on, as a safety net?
