We're reaching out to the rocketry community for one or more volunteers who would be willing to help prep and launch one of our single stage four engine clustered 1/14th scale Nike Hercules models at an event in Littleton Colorado on June 12th, 2020. The event will be held at Goddard middle school and will celebrate the donation of a full size Nike Hercules missile that has stood in front of the school for the past 52 years to a Colorado aerospace museum. The 42 foot tall missile will be unbolted from its concrete base and removed during the event. The retired aerospace engineer and teacher who originally had the Army donate the missile to the school wants to launch one of our large clustered Nike Hercules models at the event but needs launch assistance. The event will host local dignitaries and an expected crowd of about 500 people. To find out more please follow this link: https://coloradocommunitymedia.com/stories/goddards-old-missile-is-bound-for-pueblo,295622?

The article states that the missile will be moved earlier than the June 12th date but the event has been pushed back to the 12th. Volunteers will be assisting Dr. Ben Millspaugh with the launch. If you are interested in helping please PM me and I'll get you in touch with Dr. Millspaugh. Thanks, Alex and Sheree Boyce
