Does anyone know if tracking powder, specifically powdered chalk from Home depot, would mess up the functioning of the Jolly Logic Chute Release altitude sensors?

I'm running an ejection baffle, then a nomex chute protector wrapped around my chute and Jolly Logic.

Tracking powder would be in a dixie cup above the ejection baffle but below the chute, protector, Jolly Logic.

Doesn't that stuff make a huge mess in the airframe and out? Run an experiment without the JLCR and see what gets contaminated. Better yet, use a proper altimeter in a sealed av-bay.

Better yet ... a proper altimeter AND a proper tracker. Psst ... they pay for themselves in loss prevention.
