TMT Certifies New Aerotech Motors
To All,
I am very pleased to announce new motors for RCS Aerotech, Gary Rosenfield, 'guy in charge', two in the in the Aerotech RMS line and two new motors for the Kosdon By Aerotech TRM line of reloads.
For Aerotech, we have a new motor for the 98/10240 case, the M1800FJ-P. This motor is the largest, to date, of the Fast Black motors and is really impressive on the stand with 4.5 seconds of very thick black smoke (I have the video!) for an 8200 NS total impulse, 60% M, M1833 Average. Initial weight is 20.2 pounds. The curve is a standard square wave curve, rising to 500 pounds immediately, tapering at the 2.5 second point down to 300 pounds at the 4 second point, then a straight drop to zero at the 4.5 second point.
Second new motor is actually a new case size for the 54 MM RMS line, the 54/2800. The K1050W is an update to the original Single Use K1050W motor in a Reload package. This motor is an 89% K motor, 2426 Total NS Impulse, 2.15 second burn time and a tested K1132 Average. The curve is a standard Bates curve, with an immediate Max to 300 pounds decaying to 250 at 1.8 seconds, where it has a straight drop to 0 at the 2.15 point.
Next is two new releases in the KBA line for the Kosdon 29-250 and 29-150 cases.
First up is the H130W motor. This White Lighting offering is a 54% H motor, 247 Total NS, 1.9 second burn time, H127 tested average. This Bates motor's curve is a square wave. running at 40 pounds off the pad out to 1.25 seconds, with a slight concave curve drop to zero at the 1.9 second point
Second is the G82W. This 78% G, 140.97 NS Total has a peak of 23 pounds, with a 1.8 second Burn time. The curve is a slightly progressive square wave, lighting to 17 pounds, rising to 23 pounds at the 1 second point decaying to 20 pounds at the 1.5 second point, with a drop to 0 at the end of burn time.
On the horizon we have a new Fast Black motor for a 75 MM case as well as a few other motors scheduled prior to LDRS.
