You didn't think they would pick the grounded fleet by boeing of the lastest version of the super transport did you? (787)
You know, the one that has the battery problems that catch fire during flight.
Which their solution was to contain the fire in a metal box. (And after the test facility blew up, 3 story building & 5 acres)
But did nothing to protect the occupants of the plane from the toxic gases that the burning Lithium Ion batterys gives off. (Proved by later testing after they were put back into service)
I'm surprised they picked a boeing plane at all after the corperate ******* over they gave their customers and the Boeing name.
Perhaps that regieam has been overthrown and decent people were put in place again to see that the long lasting reputation of Boeing Continutes on.
Last news from my brother, that he could disclose, was that the engineering department was taken off time limits and put on a more quality control aspect of the assingments.
He did comment to me on a hush hush item about the LI batteries that I can't say here.
But will never put my butt on a Boeing Super Transport 787.
And I don't recommend anyone does.
