I remember reading about the Hero 3&4 but I was looking at the newer ones.

That would have been disappointing!

LOL it was... theres enough room for me to cut the back out of the camera section, my issue is the original Hero was thicker, newer ones like the 8 are taller. Scott told me he ordered a Hero 8 to help him design a mod, so maybe...

Edit: it would be easier to modify height wise than depth, so I'm considering it's time for (gasp) 4K....
