I'd like to know if we could obtain the ability to attach common CAD, tool path files, etc... to this section of the forum. I know we can zip files and attach that way, but is mildly inconvenient when doing back and forths. Maybe I should just be using Google Drive or Dropbox to do this. Just a thought.

I'd like help listing the file extensions that everyone would like to be able to attach to this section of the forum. I only use Inventor and Autocad. However I was thinking all supported types for Fusion 360, I know quite a few people use this since you can run it for non-commercial use for free:

.3dm
.asm
.CATProduct
.CATPart
.dwg
.dxf
.f3d
.fbx
.g
.iam
.ige
.iges
.ipt
.neu
.obj
.par
.prt
.sab
.sat
.skp
.sldprt
.sldasm
.smb
.smt
.ste
.step
.stl
.stp
.wire
.x_b
.x_t

Does anyone else have any suggestions before I post a request?

-Thanks Opcon

DXF, IGES, and STP files can migrate across platforms. yes, some are a little trickier than others, but you can import / export as you need to.
