Well I’ve done it again, last time in 2005, then got out of the hobby, then re entered in the spring of this year having found out all the ATF nonsense had been cleaned up.
Went to MWP last weekend with my Ultimate Wildman Deadpool Edition and got it done with a nice flight on an AT M1550R to 7,700 feet.
6” x 132” bird weighing 46 lbs loaded on the pad. RRC3and RRC2+ controlling recovery with a black and red 12 foot parachute. Broke apart at apogee and fell drogue-less to 1200 feet where the main successfully deployed for a soft touchdown around a 150 yds from the LCO table, reminiscent of my last L3 cert flight.
Couple of great pics from Chuck Haskin Photography, greatly appreciated.
