Saturn V colors.

Hi,

I am building a Satrun V (non flier) - and am having trouble finding the true color for the 1st stage tank. I think it is yellow/orange but all the Saturn resource sites I have been too don't mention it :-(

Any one help me out with this?

I always thought it was white...

Sorry, should have clarified a bit more, the 1st stage is white and black etc on the outside, it is the actual fuel tank inside that stage.

This is the 2nd stage tank - I need to know the color of the 1st stage tank.

Nobody "splained it" to me like that!

Yes almost all NASA projects used a burnt orange (red/orange) base primer even is it got no other coating or paint.

Yeh...go with red/orange.
