Hello,
I am searching for a recent edition of a Russian language handbook on model rocketry. What I have seen on the web are very old editions. I am a former US Army linguist and I hope to find a more current reference in Russian (just for the fun of it). Really.

Thanks,

Robert in Illinois

Have you got a more specific title?

Try Modeli Raket (Модели Ракет)
The first thing I found was this. Apparently it dates back to the Soviet era.

I also found this one. I couldn’t find any mention of how old it was.

Third option, also unknown vintage.

Are any of these the ones you’ve found already?

I have a collection of Russian books on model rocketry dating from 1972 to 1999. They are all in either .djvu or .pdf format. .djvu requires a 3rd party reader to be installed.

Give me a day or two and I'll upload them all to my Google cloud drive and give you or anybody else who might want them access for a few days.

I've used both Google Translate and Yandex Translate and found Yandex Translate to be better.

That would be very appreciated!

Thank you!

Robert
sorry for the delay.

i'll leave it up for a week or so or until I remember to take access away. so just copy and paste to your disk or cloud or wherever.

this url is to the archive of a Russian Modeler magazine called Model Constructor that has some Russian model rocket articles

Here's a more recent Russian book on model rocketry, "Cosmodrome on the Desk." It was published just last year.

It is very FAI competition focused, as is most model rocketry in Europe. The publisher appears to have a website:

Hope this helps,
