replacement rubber bands for Estes Flip Flyer

Does anyone have a source for replacement rubber bands for the Estes Flip Flyer helicopter recovery rocket? I tried looking for rubber bands for braces and got hits with a lot of different sizes. If this is the sort of rubber band for the rocket, what size should I get? If not what should I be looking for and where?

Any way you can measure what you need? I would imagine a trip to the dollar store or Walmart would be sufficient. Try over at Rocketreviews.com., it might list what you need.

Look for "orthodontic rubber bands".
Apogee has some.
I guesstimate these are around 9/16" diameter.

Right - orthodontic rubber bands / elastics should work. Same can be used for the Venus Probe legs...
