I wanted to dig into the collective skulls of all you mini rocket scientists for a few and see what resources you guys have for low costs preferably DIY( more fun) recovery systems out there. Something that will set a reovery charge after a certain ammount of time so on . I love information so the more the better.

There's a lot of DIY rocket recovery systems like altimeters and timers out there is you research the through resources and links & use google.
By far the best i've seen, is JD's altimeter kit - he sells them on occasion - google MARS rocketry and go to personal pages.
I made 2 and they work great.
