My friend Chris Taylor just posted a great video about printing an adapter for attaching a red-dot rifle scope to a camera to help you follow a rocket in flight.
It's very hard to follow a rocket in flight with standard video camera viewfinders. A red-dot sight makes is MUCH easier
I used this technique back in the late 90's to make videos for our rocket club in AZ. Back then, we didn't have 3d printers, so I had to fashion a bracket out of aluminum and epoxy it to the side of my Sony Handy-Cam. Cameras are better now, and the scopes are better also.
