After a year off for COVID-19 Tripoli of Central California held a limited 50 flyer launch on a three day weekend in May 14-16, 2021. This launch was prep for a large launch - Dairy Aire 2.0 in June when COVID-19 restriction would be suspended. Well attend by flyers and vendors. Many great flights and a relax paced launch. Real good to see everyone again.

I had interesting time working with power company recovering 1st stage.

I launched four this time checking out Sony RX10 new cameras and 4k video in prep for coming 2021 launches.

i guess your proved Covid-19 was airborne!

did the Chaos nose cone really bury itself that deep in the dirt? Wow. Hope that was softer than the California playa!
 
Yes, the nose cone just drifted down and stayed in that position.

The soil is soft in the region, hard to walk in the field some times.... they developed caterpillar tractors for this area to spread weight out. Very little dust.
