Saw some of the new estes kits at my local hobbytown today. They also stocked up on Quest motors (not the D's though) and some of the new quest kits.

So far I've picked up the Hornet and the Mini-Max.

Not sure how I feel about the sudden switch back to balsa nose cones...

They're all at Hobby People stores. Generally they stock one of each and only re-stock after they've sold. There is a standard one day a week truck delivery from the central warehouse to each store. Twice a week during the Holiday season.

Anyone coming to the SCRA launch on Sunday 2/21 can see one of each (except the Mini-Max which I left on the peg) and they will be available to anyone who wants them and was not able to find them at their nearby store.

Has anyone seen the new Estes kits in a Hobby Lobby yet?

The new Estes kits started showing up here in San Diego about 2-3 weeks ago.

I've picked up the Super Neon XL with the Magician, Mini Max & Hornet en route to me.

I guess the Hobby People chain shops must have received their order recently.

Now, waiting for all the new Quest kits to start showing up! :D
