Looks like all categories of 29 mm BP motors are back in stock at Estes.
I may have to rename the rocket Long Gone after the maiden.
Will probably try MD/dual deploy since a JLCR won't fit.

With the Estes MAP pricing, this Chinese made rocket is almost double the price of an Apogee Aspire which will go much higher with a single stage Aerotech motor than a So Long with 2 stages of Estes BP motors.

I think of Apogee as the "high price" alternative almost across the board. Nice products, but if you can buy it somewhere else, it is almost certain to be cheaper.

For Estes, the "cheap and cheerful" end of the market, to price itself above Apogee, must have taken a massive amount of navel gazing.

I really hope TVM, LOC, Randy, and Gary make the most of this while it lasts.
