Hi Gang,

After some great Beta Testing by TRF modelers Pat Easter and Todd Mullin (thanks!), Excelsior Rocketry is proud to announce the release of the "Briterceptor" and "Briterceptor E" decal sets.

The "Briterceptor" is Excelsior Rocketry's first in a series of decals that fit the Interceptor and Interceptor E. Each decal set allows you to complete a specific ship from the Earth Defence Force. More decal sets are to follow such US variants for the basic Interceptor class. Canadian, German and other decal sets are in the planning stage as well.

Here is the backstory....

In the year 2083, dozens of Interceptor class ships were built to defend earth from interstellar invaders. These ships were Earth's last line and were essential in the defeat of the enemy in the Battle of Saturn...

In order to instil greater esprit de corps, Earth Defense Force personnel were assigned to ships based on their country of origin. This eliminated the language barrier and personnel shortage that had plagued the EDF since its inception. As space warfare eliminated the need for camoflage, crews decorated their ships to their own tastes, with only the minimal regulations such as ship number placement being shared from ship to ship.

Stop by our website to see Todd and Pat's great models.

As always, thanks to all of the support from TRF and its members!!

Fred,

Fan-tastic. I have seen post with the British version. Can't wait for the Canadian and German versions. (Hmm, which one should I use for the BT55size... and which one for the ST20 size?).

Oddly enough, the when the Interceptor was released, it was supposed to represent the future in the *19* 80's.

Speaking of Canadian decals, do you plan on doing to classic Mini-Bomarc with the classic Canadian decals?
