Wainting on a MRS from Giant Leap.
Have learned two things.

2. be very gentle with the phnolic tubing the stuff is brittle as he....

HEH I found that out the hard way. I went through 4 couplers on a build. I ended up getting one stuck in a tube on dry fit and I had to break it out. another one my syster knoked on the floor and my sister stepped on it. I them got it right and I bought an extra just incase ;)

thanx, Ben

One fluid ounce of mixed foam liquid should translate into about one ounce (mass) of expanded foam, but occupy the equivalent volume of about 25 fluid ounces (expansion ratio of 25:1) or over 1½ pints. I could've easily used over 1 ounce (mass) of epoxy doing it the other way.

Right on, Thomas. Conservation of mass is a wonderful thing. For a relatively small diameter rocket, the foam weighs less than internal epoxy fillets.

I hate working with fins, fillets (esp. internal ones), and epoxy. That's why my rockets usually have only 3 fins and foam!
