My first thought was cleaning money, but any law enforcement or tax collection agency will see a transaction like that and flag it.

Or maybe it'll be part of several hundred other eBay transactions so as in the aggregate, there won't be any red flags.

Reminds me of an old joke.
A man is on a street corner with a cart of apples during the Great Depression.
