I'm getting closer by the hour. I hit some little areas with spot putty and sanded those down using a 150 grit sanding sponge. I've now shifted over to grey primer. It's about 98% there with a couple of small high spots to work out . One problem I have run into is about a dozen little spots, maybe 1/8 inch across for the largest, that appear to be some kind of bubble in the glass. they can be depressed with a fingernail and then pop back up. They are too soft to sand out. The best bet might be to puncture them with an Exact-o knife and then fill with a drop of epoxy. Sanding down the remaining area should be easy enough. With any luck I'll have that operation done by this evening. --
