I'm holed up in a hotel in Norman in a lull in DBCS Phase 6 training, thinking about 4th of July days past.

July 4, 1994, two or three weeks into being a BAR. A launch with my Mom and her current steady who later became my stepdad. A lot of those kits and the homemade rack were from the first time around in the '70s.

While not exactly the 4th, this is pretty Bicentennial with a rocket launch on the last day of school 1976. With YouTube substituted, and fumbled, soundtrack....

Going to have a party for my grandson who turned 7 today. Not patriotic at all, sorry. It always reminds me of that tv show that has the Jeff Bridges speech in it "America is not the greatest country in the world"

I cleaned out my rocket trailer today. I plan to move to a new trailer in a few weeks.
