Great Way to celebrate Son's Birthday

Son turned 20 today, so what better thing to do but go launch some scratch built rockets...

Here is my completed Delta IV Medium 5+2 configuration. Flown with 2 B6-4's on the jettisoned SRMs and a E9-4 for the core.

Next up was the Delta IV Heavy, this flight the strap-on CBCs were captive (no separation).

Flown with 2 D12-0 in the outboards and a E9-4 on the core.

Launch photos of Flight Number 1.......camera was on ground looking up through a piece of plexiglas.

Oops "Delta Launch Control....we seem to have hit an object....

An now the Second flight, flown with 2 D12-3 on the jettisoned CBCs, and an E9-4 on the core...all went very well

Second Flight.....core is flying on towards upper left hand, the two outboard CBCs have been jettisoned.

And lastly, all three on parachutes...have to look closely...
