It's not very often I get to fly my green tubes rocket "Gee Tee"
on a G33 blackjack. With the long length and tube fins it requires
a larger motor in any wind. So I thought I would share it.

The body tube is basically BT80 at the bottom. The tubes are
just slightly larger. Red Arrow Hobbies got some tubes one time
that was off size and sold them pretty cheap as BT-81. The top
tube transitions to BT-60 size.

Here's a few links for the launch last Saturday at Champaign.

Hopefully those worked.

I have flown this rocket on many motors including a G80,
G38, G40, G75, G104, H97, H128, H238, H220, H268,
and a I200. I am thinking about adding a small EB to fly
it on some homemade G and H motors.

As far as the G33 being High power, that's questionable
and we can debate that in propulsion, I don't consider it a
high power motor. If the mods want to move this thread to High
Power Rockets then go ahead.

Agreed - it is a G impulse engine, therefore it is mid-powered.

Now, as far as being TREATED in the same way as high-power motors due to propellant weight, that's another story.

But a "G" is a "G". Total impulse = mid-power.
