The Southern California Rocket Association (SCRA, NAR Section #430) held it's first launch of 2010.

With temperatures in the mid-high 70s and no/light winds, rockets were flown with motors ranging from 1/2A to G.

I personally flew four rockets with the Quest 'C6' Chinese made motors. I find these longer burning motors to give light and moderate weight rockets an excellent boost and greater altitude.

The Section's next launch will be January 23rd. If you are in the Los Angeles area at that time, come out and fly. You may want to bring some sunblock. ;)
