First Mach 1 build

Built my first Mach 1 kit this week. Pretty happy with it considering I’ve never worked with fiberglass before

WOW! Looks really nice. I have the same kit. You WILL love how it flies. Be warned though, she will eat up a lot of sky. My first flight had a long walk through a bean field. Love your stand.

You will love the durability of fiberglass.
My first was a Rocketry Warehouse Mouse 38. Shock cord snapped on its' maiden. Nose cone and chute floated away. Main body came crashing down end first on an asphalt road. Fins stayed on with no damage! Just a little road rash on the body tube.

Adding mass will usually achieve what you want, as long as it gets off the rail at a safe speed.
