The Ninja was the bird that brought me back to the friendly skies back in 1994. Picked up for less than a buck in a hobby shop closing in Arlington, Texas, it flew four times before we left for home, only to be crushed by falling luggage on the trip.
I eventually realized the significance of the Ninja, and picked up a second one in 2002. This one got the full treatment, paint AND decal, but basswood for fins. The fiber ones were too delicate.
The 2011 version is an LOC Lil Nuke that I'd been given as a gift. Since I already had a stock Nuke, this one became the Hillbilly Ninja. It's since been painted, but my decal didn't turn out. I'll need to see about that before the first flight.
