I am thinking of builting a rocket with a 4" lower BBT that transitions into a 3" upper BT. It will be a 38mm mmt and probably dual deploy. The transition I am looking at is the LOC 3.9 - 4.0 transition. I was thinking of installing an EBay into the transition with ports on the upper shoulder section. I was thinking about cutting the ends off and essentially making the transition the Ebay (just like if you used a coupler). However, I am worried about sealing the transition to prevent ejection gasses from entering. I could also just get a 3" coupler and cut off the 3" shoulder on the transition and just slide the coupler into the transition.
Any thoughts out there on an eay way to do this? Thanks.
