Correction, after I ordered one. That one is too cool to pass up, and I found a thread where he only had three left.

I love the nose cone, and fin design, and its big enough for a jolly logic chute release.

Kit was ordered Sunday Morning, arrived today, and as Scott said he refunded the extra shipping. It is incredibly well made, and very high quality.

I will post pictures as I build it. This is my first mid power, thru the wall plywood fin and centering ring kit.

It is super cool looking.

I am thinking the Mig 21 grey and mint blue I remember seeing pictures of from a very old encyclopedia of weapons called Weapons and Warfare. Unless I have it mixed up in my mind with another Mig. Anyway, I can see how to paint it in my mind. Lol

Looking forward to seeing the build on this one. I had been watching this kit for a while but didn't buy it as I was waiting for another kit to become available and missed my opportunity. I'll grab one if he runs another batch.

He said he had two left ready to go this morning, and will not be ordering any more of this tube size.
It is a super good deal on a really neat kit. The nose cone alone is amazing.

Well I got the tube spirals filled last night, the nose cone filled and halfway smoothed tonight, the fins were sanded, and leading/trailing edges sanded to smooth sharp edges. Fin tips were kept thick but rounded.

Tonight installed motor mount and the fins are attached to motor mount with 30 minute epoxy.

Scott makes really nice kits.

I know I wanted a Zephyr for my L1 but I might see if he will make me a L1 kit. I am blown away by the attention to detail.

When I am done with this fin jig I will sell it for half what I paid plus shipping cost. We have a UPS account so it will just be the actual discounted cost. I should be able to ship it Monday. The only reason I am selling it, is he is not making any more of the 2.26 Wolverine. If I break or lose this one I will have to buy a 3" kit.

Two coats of automotive sandable filler primer, wet sanded, and waiting for paint.

This thing is super cool.

I like your color choice, looks good, to my eye it really needs to cockpit to finish it off, you should be able to retrofit cardstock or other without a complete re-finish.
This is 2.6" and photo paper scaled from the original scans and upscaled by 2.6x

Thank you!!!!

I have a different idea. I ordered the waterslide decals for a CZECH Mig-21 that was a air show demonstration plane. I used the color off a different plane.

And the crazy waterslide decals arrived today from Canada.

I know its a mash up of Czech and Soviet art work. It makes me happy.

My son loves it.
