So I am trying to install CURA 5.2 on my new computer, and in order to use CURA 5.2 I have to create an account (great! More Spam!). And then I get this 'next' request, in my opinion, an intrusive request...

What am I missing here? I just need a slicer, not digital intrusion. If I do not sign in and allow them to read my data, I am not allowed to use CURA 5.2, because I am not signed in... catch 22/push-me pull-me.

It connects to Ultimaker printers and can print directly. All those things sound appropriate for it. If you want software that just slices, you're going to have to pick something else.

It should have given you the option to skip creating an account. It was right under the box wanting you to create a login.

You are correct, in the lower left hand corner in a lighter colored font there was a skip option, thank you for that. I missed it entirely. No to delete that account I started.
