When I got started my Prefect let me borrow his cases for certification flights as well as any other flights. His generosity and encouragement was crucial for me to learn enough to truly enjoy the hobby. I commend a club for providing opportunities for flyers.

We are probably going to do it. I agree with most of the comments above and unless we receive a donated casing, it is unlikely we will go past standard level one and two motors. I think once they get to that level, it is cost prohibitive to have a rental service.

I loan cases I have. Some I will ask for replacement cost up front and return when the case comes back clean.
I seldom loan to college students because failure and lose rate is too high.
