This is a model of a Polish mail delivery rocket. 24mm powered.
Also my all time hard luck rocket.
Took it out a half dozen times to launch, each time was a no go for one reason or another.
Finally put in a new engine and igniter and got a launch. Straight up, ejection at apogee.
Then, like the Energizer bunny, it kept going. And going. And going.
And it wasn't particularly windy.
Lost sight of it after it drifted over some scrubland maybe a half mile out.
Replacement in the build pile.

I realize this is a bit of an old post, but I’m really interested in this rocket kit. I’d love to build it for the NARTREK scale rocket requirement, but I can find no information regarding its history as a 1960’s Polish Mail Delivery rocket as it says on the kit card. Any of you folks know the real story behind this one? I think of myself as a reasonable internet searcher, but this one stumped me. Thanks for any feedback.
