3D Printing Anyone toyed with lithophanes yet?

I've so far made 6 with a 50% sucsses rate. When they "work" they're incredibly cool. Settings seem to be a bit touchy, but w/Christmas near as it is they'd make neat gifts.

That's fantastic! Especially if it was your first attempt. I hear ya about the whole "takes forever to print" thing. When I first got into 3d printing it drove me mad at how slow the process actually is. I've since partially solved it by buying/building multiple printers. Solved the rest of the equation by just hitting the print button, walking away and forgetting about the damn thing altogether..
