too much rail, not enough power is the main idea of this story. My rail button hung up on the top of the rail and it arced over straight into the ground.

Yeah there are always some busted crayons in the big box when you open them ....

I did *not* need to see that, considering my L1 attempt is coming up with a crayon rocket....

Twas a kosdon G65. I didn't think about it because I was too excited about letting it fly. The only rail they had out there yesterday was the heavy duty 1010 rail, so there wasn't much of an option.

There are crayon rockets, and then there is the stuff you build.

My hack job is nowhere near your level, although I suspect that had I used a 38mm motor mount, I could cert L2 with my crayon. Assuming it survives the L1 flight, that is.

They are fun. But I'm stepping into the dual deploy world, and am way to lazy to fashion my own altimeter bay. If I build another, I guess I could put a hatch in the side and use sue's home made tether:D
