FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

We are excited to announce the annual Argonia Cup collegiate rocketry challenge event to be held at the Argonia Rocket Pasture. This competition is open to college students participating as teams to meet the specific launch objectives set by the Argonia Cup Competition Committee. Our mission to provide a competition that challenges teams of collegiate students to design, construct, and execute a multi-disciplined rocketry project utilizing innovative engineering and technology concepts fosters a team approach with a challenging yet achievable objective. With support from both national and local businesses and organizations, the Argonia Cup aims to provide students from across the country a unique opportunity to showcase their abilities and talents in a competitive environment. Save the date for the inaugural meeting of the Argonia Cup event: April 1-2, 2017.

The Argonia Cup is hosted cooperatively by the KLOUDBusters Rocket Club and the Tripoli Rocketry Association with the support of our valued sponsors. Interested collegiate teams and potential sponsors may obtain complete information about the Argonia Cup competition objective, prizes, hotels, team and sponsor information, etc. via the dedicated web-site http://www.argoniacup.com. Updates and news about the Argonia Cup event will also be available by joining the Argonia Cup Facebook group at http://www.facebook.com/groups/274623956221595.

So non-academic locals are welcome to watch the event or is the presence restricted to the participants only? Another way to ask is will spectators be welcomed? Kurt

NEWS RELEASE!

Wildman Rocketry, one of the nation’s largest rocketry vendors, has signed on as a sponsor of the 2017 Argonia Cup. Their sponsorship is twofold!
First, they have donated one thousand dollars ($1,000) cash to be split among the top three finishers in this year’s Argonia Cup.
Second, each registered team will qualify for the Wildman Club membership discount on any items purchased though their webstore.
The Argonia Cup is proud to have Wildman Rocketry as an event sponsor.



This brings the total prize for the 2017 Argonia Cup to $2000 with more than half of that going to the winner! Stay tuned for more announcements regarding prize sponsorships.
