Has anyone ever put an altimeter in a LOC Expediter? What did you have to do to make it work?

I have a "Little Expediter" - same design, but main airframe is 3" instead of 4". for single recovery, main at apogee, here's what I did:

I drilled small holes in both ends of the reducer, fished the ematch wire through, then tape over the holes & wire.

the altimeter (Perfectflite MAWD) and battery goes on a board in the upper section. drill a couple small holes in the upper section airframe to vent for the barometer. tape the nose cone on so you don't lose the altimeter. I stuck power wires out through one of the vent holes.

for a more permanent arrangement you could mount switches on the upper airframe section. if you were really clever you could put the altimeter on a sled that fits in a tube, say 38mm, and put the tube in the reducer.
