Hi all! Am trying to thin out my collection a bit...too many kits that I won't be able to get to.
Selling an AAA Model Aviation Fuels LaserSonic kit from the late 80's. It's a high-performance 18mm model designed with durability in mind. It features a balsa nose cone, heavy-duty 18mm tubes, plywood fins and full color decals.
More about the kit from the '87 AAA Model Aviation Fuels catalog:
Our LASERSONIC line are truly high performance rocket kits designed to give you the maximum performance (design Computer aided) a motor has to offer. Most flights will result in the so call 'Out-of-Sight' type with velocities exceeding MACH 1. Only your Tran-Son-Ic 775 kit with a 'C' motor, unless you're the owner of an AeroTech 18mm "E".
Tran-Son-Ic 775
Smallest in our fleet, a mere .775" using our exclusive .038 wall BT-20HD with a balsa or plastic nosecone, ply fins & DECALS. This is minimum diameter High Power rugedness that Lasts & Lasts. The TRAN-SON-IC 8775 kit was fully successfully flight tested at Z2 using an AeroTech "E" by our Research & Development Flight Director!
Finished model is 27" long, and flies on long delay 18mm motors.
Fun fact: I flew one of these, many years ago, on an AeroTech 18mm E45 (full E). Out of sight is an understatement...
Asking $35 well packed and shipped within the CONUS.
