Hi all! Am trying to thin out my collection a bit...too many kits that I won't be able to get to.
Selling an Estes #1952 Halley's Tail kit, was available in the '86 and '87 catalogs, timed for the return of Halley's Comet. It's a BT-50 based sport model with a "comet" that ejects...kind of unique for an Estes model. Finished kit is 16.75" tall and flies on 18mm motors. Also includes chrome decals that are hard to replicate.
The kit is sealed, unopened and is in great shape for a kit that's 35 years old. All parts are in great shape and ready to build. Balsa appears to be intact.
