Sold 98mm Research Case Run

Here we go. I'm going to start with 98mm cases first to keep things clean, then I'll post another thread for 75's afterwards.

For sale are 98mm/3.50" ID snap ring motor cases. All my cases are machined from 6061-T6511 ASTMB221 tubing hand selected for consistent ID. I've been using this tubing for years with success, as have many others. Check out the story of this heroic case (link provided with permission from the flyer). Cases include a knurled 1/2" integral thrust ring and two standard internal snap ring grooves and will be securely shipped via USPS 2-3 day priority mail with insurance. Buyer pays actual shipping. To order, please send me a DM telling me what you want and your full name and mailing address. Al tubing has gotten pretty expensive, so I'm going to ask for a 50% deposit up front this time with the balance to be paid upon shipping. Turnaround time is typically 4-6 weeks.

Prices below reflect bare aluminum finish. Black anodizing is available but price is dependent upon how may buyers want it. I'm not offering complete motors at this time. This listing is for cases only.

I'm going to nominate our 98mm case for "case of the year". I'm sure others have seen worse, but this case has come in ballistic from > 1500' high twice, had a cato a month ago that blew out the nozzle and a very trashed aft snap ring, and now just survived > 2000 psi and a crushing date with a load cell. After a thorough cleaning yesterday the case actually looks pretty good. I was certain we would need to retire it, but now I am reconsidering.
