This is something I've talked about since I first joined the forum.

The nose cone, transition, and fairing body are all 3D printed. As you can see, the shape isn't perfect. Cool thing is that in order to update it to my version 2, I just need to reprint those three parts. For now, this is acceptable.

Initially, this was going to be a 38mm mmt and a 54mm body. I won't disclose the dealer, but I was sent out of spec centering rings. This prompted me to sim a 54mm MD version. It worked great!

Not very far along yet. Still need to continue sanding and painting the 3d printed parts. I will definitely pay more attention next time to the printing options to get a lower polygon count.

Fins will be acrylic in order to preserve the F9 appearance and be nearly invisible on the pad.

Just like most MD rockets, it doesn't look like much without fins and art...
