Beautiful flight! OR underestimated the apogee by quite a lot. I removed the base drag "hack", and it still is too low. Don't know why (but this gives me an idea what it will do in real life). The altitude on an I180 was a little over 2400 feet.
What a flame.

Let's see if I can upload a video someone sent me. It pretty much just catches the lift-off, the rocket left too fast for them to keep up with it.

I'm thinking that, at least for right now, I'm going to limit flights to a maximum of an I180. The OR sim really underestimates the altitude. An I180 puts it out of range of my sight. I'm flying it with big orange parachutes, so it can be seen once they open. I'm trying to find a way to put a tracker in it. If I can, then I'll load it with a bigger motor!
