Hi all
Been lurking for a bit, thought it was time to share.
I am building my second LPR and reached the awkward point of being ready to glue fins.
I did not use a jig for my first build (an Estes Reflector), but thought that this time I would use one.
Rather than buy, I put together a 3D model using OpenScad. The model is parametric, so it can be easily adjusted to suit a variety of rockets. It takes about half an hour to forty minutes to print a medium sized jig, obviously this varies according to the size and speed of your printer. The jig allows all the fins to be glued at once, handy if your workshop time is limited.
If you are looking to download the files I have published them here at Thingiverse
Hope I have posted in the right place!
