3" Mailman and Whiskey Runner

Going to have some fun with these. The Mailman is a 3" shipping tube with a 54mm motor and the Whiskey Runner with a 38mm motor is going to be the same wrapped with a whiskey tube. Simple rockets with room to press the limits of the motors. I will be wrapping both in glass to push the limits.

The next task is to glass the tubes. The whiskey tubes will go on over the mailing tubes. I had to get another bottle to have enough to cover.

Will a standard 3" nosecone fit your tubes, or will you need to custom build (or print) a nosecone for them? I made a 3" black brandt from a mailing tube that was too thick for the standard LOC/PML noses, but the conical nose is easier to make than an ogive shape.

Yes, I have a Wildman 3" that fits. may have to taper the outer glass but not building them for performance just fun.

I love end grain boards too. Is that epoxy? I never thought of that.
