Ok we will build soon later, here is the unboxing part to show the goods.

The Box arrived from the Wildman in a 48" by 6" x 6" brown plain wrapper to protect my privacy.

As I came home the plain brown box was propped up at my door. As I picked it up the girl next door that used to be my daughter's baby sitter 20 years ago asked;

So what you got in that big box ?

So much for privacy ;)

She's 35 now, looks like Rose on 2 1/2 men; and I was not about to tell her about the 36" motor :surprised:

Hopefully he is just taking lots of nice photos for us to drool over.
Like Brent I would like to see the 75 or the 98 but I don't know if all the parts could fit into a 6 x 6 box.

You've got to be kidding me. Why keep the suspense?! Just tell everyone what it is! Even I'm itching to know!;)

Man I'm sorry I started reading this thread! Now Art either give me/us a hint or give me the Neighbors Number! :D:D lol

Duno?? Art did say it has a 36" Motor Pipe? the 38 and 54mm are Minimum Diameter? and those aft sections are 40" and 44" for the 54mm.:pirate:

Who makes this kit? I couldn't find it on the WIldman site.... thanks!

Art , You sneeky little devil . I was proud of my scratch built 54mm ship but that Mongoose .WOWhttps://www.rocketryforum.com/images/smilies/20.gif
 If you fly it at three oaks I got a transmitter for ya to borrow . Knowing you you got one though.

Open that dat gum bag

Ok, for your pleasure this morning we will open the bag and display the parts. You should be able to ascertain the size of the kit in this photo.

I wonder how fast it will fly, Need For Speed :surprised:

The 36" motor pipe means I have a motor case that is 36" long to stick up the Goose, and I will have some sticking out the back still.

So, that would be 38mm then? What motor is the 36" long one???? Impressive pipe!

"Need For Speed"
Art, I take it you be flying it at XPRS this year? I'll keep a cold one or two in the cooler for you.

Tony

Now that thing is awesome! You should fly it in that contest at LDRS

Yep, definitely the 38... Have they even started selling the 54 yet? Must if the link everyone is putting up is for the 54, I should go check it out.

Those are very nice looking birds, I even like them better than the Shadowaero series. WEll hopefully it will be a while before Kurtis releases the biguns and I can get a job by then and actually buy one before they go out of production. I'd love to get the 98 and stuff it with 30" of 98mm Blue!

If built right it could take it.

Thanks for the unveiling, now you just need to start littering your pictures with beer cans :D

Brent

I know Mike Fisher likes to make really long casings. I just bought a 98mm 5 grain, and a 54/2550 from him.

Hi Brent, just call the Wildman, he had them when I ordered my 38

I chose the 38 as I've flown many 54mm darts over the past several years and wanted to try something new.

And I had a 36" 38mm pipe ready to put up the Goose

Art,
I'm waiting for the 76 or the 98, I have too many 54 birds right now too.
I just hope I get a job by then, I'm sure the price will be close to $1,500.

Well get started on it man!!! I'm going to go open my first beer of the day, I hope to see some build pics before it's drank.. Yeah right, like that could happen ;)
