Well, it took me a while but I finished several kits from several vendors. The first ones are from Squirrel Works. One is the Goblin before it was stopped being sold and the other is the Stinger.

Is Quest out of the Engine bussiness? I was told by a sales clerk that they no longer make engines. Also, Is Estes going to stop making C-11-7 moters? According to Hobbylinc, they are. Anyone know?

Although I see that Estes is re issueing the Scissor Wing Transport, I haven't seen it for sale anywhere. Anyone know when we will see this kit?:confused:

Besides sanding, what can I put on an old plastic nose cone to take off the paint. I think the paint is Krylon, but not 100% sure. Anyone have an old trick they would like to share? Thanks.

When viewing the plans for the Mark II, I noticed that it uses a bt-30 tube. Can I get away with using a bt-20 tube instead or is there that much of a variation in diameter :confused:

I read the description of the Big Bertha from the Hobbylinc hobbies site. It states that it has die cut cardboard fins. Is this true as I never remember seeing that kit with those kinds of fins.

I saw in a local paint store a "wood hardening" product. Has anyone here used this stuff to harden/seal balsa? It looks like it would be nice to use seeing how it can harden wood making it easier to finish. Any advice would be great.....Thanks

I'm done building the clone! Now, for paint. The Estes directions say Orange for the Body. Yet, every RM looks red to me. Anyone have suggestions as to paint?:confused:

OK...forgive me for asking but....is there any difference between Quest motors and Estes motors? I found a spot that sells both. I have used Estes my whole life and have never had any problems. Is Quest just as good? Better? Worst? :confused:
